From: naktinukas on 10 May 2005 06:18 how to import .fbk file into MsSQL. i have 5gb navision backup file (050509.fbk) and i want to transfer\restore\import it into a new db on MsSQL 2000 server... As i am new in navision, could anybody quide me throught? any (URL, book title, etc) information source are welcome too :) thanx
From: Mestre on 10 May 2005 18:38 Hi, It could be very simple. You start Navision with option for SQL, create a new database, Option for SQL, then restore the backup. I could not so easy, when data that you have could have some conficlts with SQL datatypes, especialy on dates, most of the times when someone makes a mistake a put in a date field 10-05-205 instead of 10-05-2005, in SQL this date 10-05-205 don't exist.
