A real time video of river water is taken by using microcam(30fps,

there we willing to estimate velocity of water and level of water
increased... so can any one help me how i have to begin, how to take
real time video in to matlab and which parameter and by which method
approaching is better for me.....

Hi Arali, Do you have the Video and Image Processing Blockset? You can stream video data into MATLAB using System objects. See the documentation for the MultimediaFileReader System object.
