With 148MB of download rpepresenting 8+ hours at dial up speed, plus the aversion to installing and installing and installing; I've put off getting OpenOffice. Will it run on Win98? Does OpenOffice really critique punctuation? Have you installed OpenOffice? Does it automatically mark punctuation errors? Or better, suggest corrections?

OO probably doesn't check grammar any better than Word. No machine can check grammar or punctuation like an educated human mind.
