Hi, you will need to provide much more information than this before anyone can help you. First of all, I'm not sure what you mean by "parameters for each subband wavelet coefficients"

You can use wavedec, or wavedec2 to obtain the discrete wavelet transform of a 1D signal, or 2D image. The outputs contain the subband coefficients, which you can extract with detcoef and detcoef2

"hello sir,
parameters in the sense, i need to find the energy, entropy, variance,sd,skewness of the wavelet coefficients.... so what would be the solution for this? is there any specific functions to finds these features? pls pls sir, eagerly waiting for ur reply.. pls help me pls pls

Hi Nethaji, the Wavelet Toolbox has wentropy(), and wenergy() for entropy and energy, variance and skewness shouldn't be easy to implement.
