And the drive had a complete failure 30 minutes later after I wrote 30 GB to it. Unreal. The BIOS could still see it but Windows 7 x64 locked up trying to talk to it. I have ordered a replacement (cant return it because of the confidential material written to it). The comments on newegg are implying a 10% failure rate on these drives. Lynn
