If you create a rule that moves incoming messages to your new folder, the rule can display a desktop alert. -- Brian Tillman [MVP-Outlook]

The rule would be for incoming mail moved to that folder - and it needs to be a client side rule if you use Exchange server. (Adding the alert rule will force it to client side). -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: mailto:dailytips-subscribe-request(a)lists.outlooktips.net EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: mailto:EMO-NEWSLETTER-SUBSCRIBE-REQUEST(a)PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM New Poll: What type of email account is your main account? http://forums.slipstick.com/showthread.php?t=42402 "wasssu" <wasssu.64a858b(a)outlookbanter.com> wrote in message news:wasssu.64a858b(a)outlookbanter.com... > > Hi all, > > I created a new folder in my Mailbox.
