I've got all the latest patches. Also checked for errors (NIC,TCP and NFS) and not found anything. We originally replaced the quad gig trunk with this card because the system is a backup machine and we often want it to read from a single NAS device as quickly as possible. Does anybody know the settings that should go in /etc/system for this card. It's a V445 with 4 UltraSPARC-IIIi procs, 8192 Megabytes RAM I've tries setting soft-lso-enable on and off in nxge.conf after seeing this: http://blogs.sun.com/puresee/category/Sun I've found a fair amount of tuning advice on the web, but nothing for this particular hardware combo. -c |
