(I cannot afford to purchase the full version at the moment) www.openoffice.org and download the latest version. It's free and will open, edit, write and print "most" Office 97 - 2007 version files (Word, Excel, PowerPoint.) It can also save in that format but by default it saves in a proprietary format. The default savesAs type can be changed easily in the program. It does not have all the features of Office 2007 and it also does not have the ribbon bar. It is a close replacement for Office 2003.
