Prev: Windows SBS 2008 domain purchase and configuration wiza has stoppe
Next: Lost all permissions under C: drive
From: sean.mcnamara on 2 Jun 2010 15:20 I am in the process of migrating from SBS 2003 to SBS 2008. Everything seems to have worked well until I hit a wall on the Sharepoint migration. I copied the "old" companywed site to the target server, per the instructions, mounted the STS_SERVERname_1 database and created the web application named "oldcompanyweb". Then I got to the step where I have to set the site collection administrators. When the site collection administrators dialog opens and I try to select site collection "oldcompanyweb" the selection pane says there are no items to show in this view (see attached png file). Furthermore, I can't access the site ate all. It keeps prompting for my username and password, and even though I am a sharepoint and Domain admin, it just prompts 3 times and then drops to blank page (not 404 errors or anything). Anyone got any ideas????? I am up against it here. thanks in advance for any help. +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: SetSiteCollection.png | |Download: http://forums.techarena.in/attachment.php?attachmentid=11001| +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ -- sean.mcnamara ------------------------------------------------------------------------ sean.mcnamara's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/227756.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/small-business-server/1343075.htm http://forums.techarena.in |
