The good old xosview did not build and install under CURRENT. After some
trying I found a way to install and run it.

In Makefile we have to remove the 'BROKEN' lines.

'files/patch-configure has to include version 9.

Additionally the irg/interrupt-meters have to be disabled over
'files/patch-ae' , because these both crashes under CURRENT.

All neccessary patches are attached.

It would be nice to take a look at the patches. If all is ok, we could
update the port.

Is it right to disable irq/interrupt-meters for all FreeBSD version. Or
is there some version specific solution? What do you think?

Thanks in advance,
Rainer Hurling

So perhaps someone else is willing to take a look at my patches?

Thanks,

Your best bet is to file a PR so they can be tracked properly and not
forgot about.

I just took a quick look at your patch and nothing jumps out at me as
bad in it. Can you please submit a PR and let me know privately what
number it is when one is generated? I'll do my best to get your patch
into the tree and the maintainer reset. Would you like to be the
maintainer?
