From: L1 on 20 Feb 2010 21:22 Word 2007 -- I keep going to "Review" -> "Set Language" and unchecking the "Do not check spelling or grammar" box, but it keeps magically rechecking itself. Because of this word is not underlining my misspelled words. I can type sldkfj or replase and Word will just let it slide. It's very annoying. Any suggestions? Thanks

Use the Office button > Open command to open Normal.dotm in the Templates folder. Select the single empty paragraph in that template and repeat the unchecking there. Insert and then delete a space character to be sure Word knows to save. Save the template and close it. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit.
