From: sj on 19 Apr 2010 05:16 my webcam worked fine for over a year until service pack 2 was installed. i ve tried everything. pc states that most up to date drivers are installed etc but camera not found??? the updates from philips have been failing for a month now??? i just don t get it??? i have contacted philips support but i think is windows problem, hope someone can help.

How is this a Windows problem when your problem is with a webcam not made by Microsoft? Don't tell me you installed drivers from Windows Update for your webcam??? Rule of thumb is never use Microsoft's hardware drivers unless you're upgrading Microsoft hardware. See if you can roll back your webcam driver, or uninstall it altogether and reinstall drivers from Philips website. -- "Don't pick a fight with an old man.
