After upgrading to version 8 while using putty, any command I issue that
has more than a page does not stop and just scrolls continuously. I
their a something I need to change in putty or a command I can issue
like a pipe to show per page?

Thanks for your help.

In IOS it's
router#term length x

to set it.

term len 0
is no pausing, default
is something like

term len 23

I guess it's terminal length.

pix may be similar.

I appreciate the clue. The pix is a little different but close. After
reading the man pages, I issued "term pager lines 23" and now it back to
the way it was prior to the upgrade. Thanks again!
