Looking for software that can make archive width data recovery
(something like rar or who remebers ultra compressor II ?) and volume
for multiple cd/dvd media?
Friend told me about par2 but from 1st look it is only to spread files
over usenet if corruption or missing someone have to call original for
that part?

I got now email that arj32 and jar have this in specification. Anyone
using it? I remembered now that old arj was first width volume option.

Nope that is not I am looking for. We decide to use this tactic:

We archive width 7zip all files width volume option (size 100MB).
Than we record 3 copy of this files on 3 media (cd/dvd).
If one or more r damaged in far future we use 2 other to recover.
7zip is free and open.
