From: me on 15 May 2007 06:49 just wanted to give my props to you guyz who did slack 11. Ive been using slack 10.2 on kernel 2.4.30something for quite sometime and never had much probs. mostly video slowdowns on my old box (on board video, 128 mem, nothing special) but on slack current(11) wow. id figure it would be worse cause of kde 3.5 and the rest but not the case. everything is smooth. maybe it has something to do with the 2.6.18.x kernel, not sure but happy none the less. good to know that i can run an old box like mines with a great OS like slack-current without too many hickups. thnx -PsyOps dedicated slack user since 7.2
