What functions write Latex codes when we call the publish function??

I need to modify it little bit so that when matlab generates a latex code, I always want it to write

\subsection{....}
\includegraphics

instead of just

\includegraphics

I am looking at the "publish" function, but I haven't been able to figure out which one I need to modify to accomplish the above change.
