From: bonthu on 19 Apr 2010 02:24 hi all, im doing thesis work on "nonlinear networked control system using neural network". i learnt neural networks. And designed the controller for my nonlinear plant. Now i have to apply communication network in betwwen plan to controller and controller to actuator. Please suggest me which toolbox in matlab helps in introducing communication network. i also hav to check the stability of the NCS in presence of packet dropouts and time delays. im confused here. i have less time n i dont know which toolbox to use- is it simevents or xpc target or realtime window workshop. i am waiting for your valauble suggestions.
From: Michael Clune on 19 Apr 2010 09:27 Hi Bonthu, SimEvents allows you to simulate the expected response of a network to traffic generated by its nodes. An example is traffic generated by a control system. An example demo is sedemo_f14_control_over_network.mdl xpc target is for building the controller and nodes in software.
