I've got Regcompact installed on my 98SE box. I got it from dwerner.xoasis.com, which won't open. Regcompact.Net from your link says it won't work on 9X. But from majorgeeks http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=465 it says Regcompact.net v1.8, apparently the same as your link, is authored by D Werner, the same as what wrote mine. I can tell you from the screenshots that it is NOT the same prog, but it has the same icon. I have a couple of cans of lager in the fridge that are calling me, so I'll leave you to figure it out..... mike

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you." https://www.regsoft.net/regsoft/vieworderpage.php3?productid=34532 So I guess it's available, and 9X users should grab it while it's around. It seems to work OK, (or at least it does no damage!) on my box ;-) mike |
