From: Eddison G Eddison on 10 Mar 2010 13:30 Just wanted to let others having similar problems with reminders not working and have tried the /cleanreminders but does not clear out the problem. In Outlook 2007, Tools/Acct Settings/Data Files Tab - check to see if you have more than one Personal Folders. If so, delete the folder(s) that's not flagged as Default. I did this and it took care of my problem immediately. "Chrisnorfolk" wrote: > I had a similar To-do bar problem with task reminders. An easier option is to hit Ctrl-6, which will show every folder available in your mail profile from every PST, and then to check for any errant Calendar folders and to take care of them that way. -- Leonid S. From: Diane Poremsky [MVP] on 11 Mar 2010 10:17 Actually, removing the data file is safer - its not deleted from the drive and can be added back but deleting calendar folders could delete one you are using and if you do something stupid like empty deleted before realizing the mistake, you may loose the calendar. In many cases, the only way to fix it is by editing the message store - see http://www.slipstick.com/calendar/cleanreminder.asp for instructions. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: mailto:dailytips-subscribe-request(a)lists.outlooktips.net EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: mailto:EMO-NEWSLETTER-SUBSCRIBE-REQUEST(a)PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM Do you sync your mailbox with a smartphone or pda? http://forums.slipstick.com/showthread.php?t=39473 "Leonid S. Unlinking a PST from a profile is harmless, of course. Just a minor clarification so we can save someone from making that mistake. -- Leonid S. From: Diane Poremsky [MVP] on 11 Mar 2010 16:56 Well, you can't delete it from the Data files tab and the OP didn't say he went into Windows Explorer... so even though he used the wrong terminology, it shouldn't cause anyone reading it to delete the pst from the hard drive. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: mailto:dailytips-subscribe-request(a)lists.outlooktips.net EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: mailto:EMO-NEWSLETTER-SUBSCRIBE-REQUEST(a)PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM Do you sync your mailbox with a smartphone or pda? http://forums.slipstick.com/showthread.php?t=39473 "Leonid S.
