Hi,
i need to remove mixed gaussian and impulsive noise from an image.
Can anyone please provide me with an algorithm which can do this.

I have read the paper titled "Switching Bilateral Filter with a Texture/Noise
Detector for Universal Noise Removal" and "A Universal Noise Removal Algorithm
With an Impulse Detector" but i have no idea how i can implement these algorithm.

Someone please help me out.

They sound like custom algorithms that you'll just have to program up
yourself in MATLAB. What do you need help with? Learning MATLAB?
There are lots of learning resources around, from the Mathworks
website, to the help facility, to this newsgroup (if you have a lot
more SPECIFIC questions), etc. There is sample code on the web site's
FIle Exchange and Documentation areas, and there are lists of in-
person classroom training and webinars, depending on your favorite way
of learning. Good luck.
