I am using Windows Vista home premium I have followed the instructions from the manual ie: From f8 at start 3 Press <Down Arrow> to select Repair Your Computer on the Advanced Boot Options menu, and then press <Enter>. 4 Specify the language settings that you want, and then click Next. 5 Log in as a user who has administrative credentials, and then click OK. 6 Click Dell Factory Image Restore. I cant find this,among the options all it gives me is "OTHER " and it wont open this tool I have the Dell Recovery on a D: drive but I don't know how to open it, as it is a wim file. I also have the Vista reinstallation cd Any and all help appreciated BRIAN co

NOTE: You must press the <F8> key before the Windows logo appears on the screen. If you press <F8> after the Windows logo appears on the screen, the Advanced Boot Options menu will not appear on the screen. If you do not see the Advanced Boot Options menu, restart the computer, and then repeat this step until you see the menu on the screen.

Hi Yes got right through to the point where I should have the Dell image restore icon but it isnt there just an icon for other that doesnt open BK

There also should vbe a drivers disk. It seems the restore partition is corrupt or not there.
