We merged a small firm and they have 10 2008 TS CAL running on a stand-alone
licensing server (not on DC). I don't know where they got the licenses from,
retail or eopen. My question is anyway to salvage or somehow recover their
CAL and install on my existing TS licensing server.

Thanks
Calvin

You first need to recover the paper work for that (I.e. Agreement numbers)
and old license server ID.
For that you need to contact the TAM (Technical Account Manager), he might
help you in recovering the data.

After that you can follow the steps mentioned in the post to migrate the
licenses from old license server to the new one:

Hope that helps!
Thanks

Hi Silvia, thanks for replying. Paper work is what I don't have so I guess I
have to order new CALs.

Thanks
Calvin

You can try to track it through TAM (if you have any contact for him).

Thanks
