From: **** on 29 Jun 2010 08:50 Hi all, i came to know the difference between DL and Security group . previously i was searching for a DL with wbonfo -g .:) wbinfo -g is showing corrrect results . now i am having the only problem that samba is not accessible with hostname and it works with IP address.. i have added following lines in smb.conf with no luck:( wins server = <wins ip addy> remote announce = <wins ip addy>/<netbios workgroup name> remore browse sync = <wins ip addy> Follwing is the log when i access with hostname.
