From: Chris Puckett [MSFT] on 27 May 2010 11:12 Read through the blog post below. It tells you what to look for in the applicationhost.config file to know that the fix from the Exchange UR is in place. http://blogs.technet.com/b/sbs/archive/2010/02/16/outlook-2007-credential-prompts-in-small-business-server-2008.aspx Then at the end, it provides some additional steps to take if that didn't fix it (Meaning something else is the cause of the authentication prompts). If the steps above don't resolve your connectivity issue, the next steps are: 1. Read this blog post on certificate mismatch warnings to see if it matches your symptoms. (I recommend going through the troubleshooting steps regardless). http://blogs.technet.com/b/sbs/archive/2010/01/05/troubleshooting-certificate-mismatch-warnings-in-outlook-2007-clients-on-small-business-server-2008.aspx 2. Run the Exchange BPA on the SBS 2008 server. 3. Run the Remote Connectivity Analyzer. www.testexchangeconnectivity.com (Create a new test account for this.) -- Chris Puckett This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights. Not finished all testing but did find that on all workstations in domain the connect status tool when run (all Outlook 2007) shows https connections once the user id and password is asked for. My other domains that I look after do not do this.
