From: New Orleans Novice on 28 Dec 2009 23:33 KB906569.if for Service Pack 2. After you upgrade to SP2 this update adds the Tools Tab; KB906569 But for SP3 without the Tools Tab there is no hope. No help. No New Orleans Gumbo

SP-2 was a *minimum* service pack level for application of this hotfix. > After you upgrade to SP2 this update adds the Tools Tab; KB906569 > But for SP3 without the Tools Tab there is no hope. No help. Service Pack 2: Released 09-AUG-2004 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/811113/ Hotfix 906569: Released 05-OCT-2005 Service Pack 3: Released 21-APR-2008 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/946480 Since the hotfix was released 14 months *after* the release of SP-2, just how could the hotfix have possibly been included in SP-2? It wasn't. However, since the hotfix existed *before* the release of SP-3, it got included in SP-3. Hotfix 906569 was *not* included in SP-2. Hotfix 906569 *was* included in SP-3. See the above links to see the list of fixes included in SP-2 and SP-3. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_xp#Service_Pack_2 for information on the 3 versions of SP-2. None of them had the hotfix although the 2b and 2c versions were released after availability of the hotfix. The 2b and 2c versions of SP-2 were *not* to include any hotfixes available after the release of SP-2 but to address different issues.
