From: Ben on 28 Jun 2010 11:36 chronux can do it, but matlab can't so far as i can tell. chronux does NOT adaptively weight the taper coefficients though, like pmtm() does, so there is more spectral leakage. sure would be nice if the mathworks put the F-test into pmtm. that's the HUGE advantage of the multitaper approach. > Does somebody have a script that can perform the F-test of these spectra > condisering the algorithms given in the pmtm-calculations?
