From: Ben on 3 Feb 2010 20:20 Hello, I wanted to put the word's "Postponed" in a textbox and then stick the box on an angle across an event in a newsletter. Is this possible to do in MS Word (2007)? What would you recommend I do? Thanks.

You can turn the text in a text box by 90 degrees left or right with the Text Direction button, but that's all. Use WordArt, or convert the text to a graphic (see http://www.gmayor.com/rotate_text.htm), or create the rotated text in PowerPoint and copy it into Word. -- Regards, Jay Freedman Microsoft Word MVP FAQ: http://word.mvps.org Email cannot be acknowledged; please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup so all may benefit.

Since this is comparable to a watermark, WordArt is the feature of choice for this application. -- Suzanne S.
