From: John on 3 Mar 2010 09:39 Hi, I'm looking at replacing my current motherboard/processor. The new motherboard/processor I am looking at is the Gigabyte GA-MA785G-UD3H / Phenom II X2 545 I would rather not replace my memory which I think is DDR2 667 (not in front of me at the moment). The specs for the motherboard list the usable memory as DDR2 1333(O.C.) / 1066 / 800 Is it possible to use slower memory or will I need to upgrade the memory as well (or find another motherboard). Thanks, John

If the system doesn't boot or is flakey, suspect the memory. -- Conor I'm not prejudiced. I hate everyone equally.

The qualified memory list <http://www.gigabyte.us/FileList/MemorySupport/mb_memory_ga-ma785g-ud3h.pdf> includes DDR2-667 memory.
