In other words, they took Galois theory to where it could not really reach and still be true. In the 20th century, the math community should have tried to extend the geometry of noneuclidean to its fuller meaning and reach, but instead, the math and physics community bloated or inflated the truth and worth of Galois theory. The cause for the errors and fakery that this overextended Galois theory was due to having never a precision meaning of finite versus infinite and thus algebra ran amok. > geometry than with algebra. If we look at the Schrodinger Equation, it allows for geometrical solutions of what the s, p, d, and f orbitals look like. But what they look like, such as on that page 73 of Seaborg and Loveland as 8 lobed figures for plutonium atom, is what the speed of light would construct in one second of time. In other words, to solve for the shape of the 5f orbital of plutonium, you end up with a 8 lobed figure, and the speed of light as 3 x 10^5 km/sec is the light wave traversing through eight lobes in one second of time. So a individual light wave builds or constructs an 8 lobed figure. So when doing the Schrodinger Eq for the 5f orbital of plutonium, the Schrodinger Equation is a solution for ** one second of time**. And the geometry of the orbital as shown on page 73 is what that one wave of light traverse in one second of time. That light wave constructs an 8 lobed figure. > like that of Earth traveling 40,000 km on each strip and that there > were 40,000 of these strips > and all this travelling done in the time of 1/8 of the circumference > as represented by a log-spiral or the features of the pseudosphere. " I am not sure what that means. What I want to confirm is that the Schrodinger Equation is an equation that has time in seconds, and only in seconds. In other words the equation is built on seconds. And the other confirmation I want is to recognize that any geometrical solution is going to be a speed of light solution. So that if we plug in the s, p, d orbitals we end up with a geometry of an orbital, but I would posit that we end up with a speed of light solution that has created that geometry of the orbital. A light wave that has travelled through all the circumferences of the orbital in one second of time. So what I would like to have confirmed is that the Schrodinger Equation is really a equation that has the speed of light then an equal sign and then a computation involving one second of time. So in other words, the Schrodinger Equation is a equation that ends up with giving you the speed of light in one second of time. From: Cassidy Furlong on 26 Jun 2010 17:26 yeah, the p-adics are really cool, and so was Galois' Last Theorem. thus&so: how many of us have ever understood a proof of this theorem?... well, if not, we'll never get p-adic numbers, or AP-didactical ones, either. thus&so: well, there's phi of me to one o'you; go figure! > outnumber the intelligent so, odds are that the first replier to a post is not even dot.dot --the duke of oil! Rationale. In addition to political, economic, and mechanical feasibility, one must consider the environmental consequences of choosing ethanol over gasoline. In par- ticular, the amount of air pollution released in the form of CO2 and other green house gases (GHGs) is a crucial point of interest. In order to model the difference in ethanol and gasoline emissions, it is necessary to calculate the final mass of GHGs (in the case where 10% of the gasoline energy supply has been replaced by ethanol) minus the ini- tial mass (before the 10% replacement was implemented). If the result is negative, the 10% ethanol scenario gives off fewer GHGs; if it is positive, it gives off more. Assumptions and calculations. Our model is based on the following assump- tions: 1.
