From: Archimedes Plutonium on 29 May 2010 16:22 Let me talk about some symmetry in all of this. Seems as though most astronomers and physicists do not have time to drop things and look for or talk about symmetry of the superclusters and voids. Look at this picture once again carefully for symmetry: http://www.atlasoftheuniverse.com/nearsc.html Notice that in the northern hemisphere of the picture we can make out a string of 4 Voids, Capricornus, Microscopium, Corona-Borealis, and behind the Coma Wall. In the southern hemisphere we can make out a string of 4 Voids also, Fornax, Columba, Canes-Major and next to Canes Major. Now the Perseus-Pisces supercluster is a mirror reflection of the Virgo and Hydra supercluster and they form almost a square box in the middle of the picture. And if we include the Centaurus supercluster as the extension of the P-P supercluster we would think that the P-P supercluster is actually three superclusters in one. Now the Coma Wall and Coma supercluster are mirror reflected by Sculptor Wall and Phoenix supercluster. Now the Hercules supercluster is mirror reflected by the Columba supercluster. And the Leo supercluster is mirror reflected by A4038 Now some superclusters such as the Pavo Indus and Ophiuchus have no mirror image duplicate but then many of the superclusters are blocked from view due to the central regions of the Milky Way. All in all, there is a remarkable symmetry of these voids and superclusters. Trademarks of a Atom Totality theory, not a Big Bang.
