From: mjt on 17 Jul 2010 17:44 During my 11.3 (x86_64) install the other day, I noticed when I got to the "configure date/time" portion, the time was one hour into the future, even though I had the (US) "Central" time zone selected. I changed the selection a few times, thinking the drop down widget wasn't getting signaled of a choice change. So, I decided to continue the installation and will fix the time issue once I've booted 11.3 Turns out the default ntp server was something like "ntp.opensuse..." - sorry, I didn't capture the name, but I changed it to a server in the US. It was odd that no matter what time zone I selected, the time would not change (and off by an hour) with that default ntp server. I'm happy to report, I had no other glitches during the install or afterwards. -- The National Short-Sleeved Shirt Association says: Support your right to bare arms! <<< Remove YOURSHOES to email me >>>
