From: kraftsims on 9 Apr 2010 12:42 for reasons I don't know, Word 2007 is now indenting to half the page. I'm used to using bullets and create hanging lists using the indent key. The tab key still indents, but jumps the indent half way across the page. I am clueless on how to reset indents. I would look in a help file, but there is no longer a "help" word at the top and am not sure how to access the help file that should be provided with this program. Thanks, Robert

Is it possible that you inserted a fixed tab position on your first line of the page? Ensure that the ruler is turned on (View tab, Ruler is checked.) If you see anything on the line darker than the numbers (like a little L mark) this is the tab stop and apparently has been set in the normal document template. To find out how to change the normal.dotm template type "normal.dotm" the help search box and then go to the first item in the list that appears "Change the Normal template."
From: Bob I on 9 Apr 2010 13:22 Press F1 (universal convention) or click the "white question mark" in the blue circle for help. For your Tabs, click the Paragraph pulldown and click the Tabs button. kraftsims wrote: > for reasons I don't know, Word 2007 is now indenting to half the page.
