Hi Vera,

The server just crashed due to this problem again this morning.
We have a lot of really angry customers. :'(

We initially decided to use ws2008 due to its pass
through printing capability with TS. But, I am seriously
considering that this was a mistake. My other WS03
TS is so much faster and so much more stable. I
should have known better than to use anything with a
Vista engine in it.

Anyway, I am clicking on the button at the top right
that says:

Hotfix Download Available
View and request hotfix downloads
http://support.microsoft.com/hotfix/KBHotfix.aspx?kbnum=980568&kbln=en-us

I get asked to accept a license. Then I get shown
the "Vista" updates to apply.

Would you go to the page where you see the WS2008
download and send me the link?

Many thanks,
-T

Mmm, you have to fill in you email address, I don'tt want to do
that for a hotfix I don't need. Why don't you simply call MS
Support? Hotfixes are free of charge.

Actually, if you were to send me the page where it asks you to fill out
your eMail address, that would be perfect.

I have asked M$ Tech support, and have an open ticket, and they
get the Vista download page too. :'(

Hi Vera,

Figured it out. Microsoft Tech support researched it and
it is a dual ws2008, Vista patch. Them not state such caused
all the confusion.
