This has worked for each of your KB numbers. However, this has not worked for KB982331, Security Update for 2007 Microsoft Office System. See my post under Software problems from yesterday (6/19). I am still trying to resolve that one. Please let me know how you do. -- samdutton Posted via http://www.vistaheads.com

From: Bill on 20 Jun 2010 18:13 Turning off UAC to install security patches is counter intuitive, is it not? That's to be polite. This bug has been known for zonks, and continues with Office 2010. Isn't it time MS F-I-X-E-D the problem? "Ǝиçεl" <l(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:CDC0D706-822A-4FAF-9EBA-29005124B5FA(a)microsoft.com... > 1. Turn off UAC. From: Ǝиçεl on 21 Jun 2010 10:00 I should add, of course, you need to reenable UAC again after the update files. -=- "Ǝиçεl" wrote: > 1. Turn off UAC.
