This is mainly a general question regarding an update panel on tab control.
The tab control is for displaying different areas of one record. There are
buttons outside of the tab control (Edit, Save, etc). When any of these
buttons are clicked I noticed whichever tab was showing it would blink.
Which, to me is the postback the button was doing. What I did was to add an
update panel to the first tab (General Information). Now when I click a
button none of the tabs blink. I've started wondering if only the one update
panel is needed or if only the one will cause problems in the future? My
first thought is one update panel shouldn't be a problem. Is that correct?
