From: stickydick on 10 Apr 2010 19:40 I am repeatedly prompted to install KB951550 and KB951944. They have been "installed" many times. I can't uninstall and try again because they are not in the "Installed Updates" list. I have tried to install them manually from Safe mode and get responses "Running Update Detection" followed by "The expected version of the product was not found on the system". Stalemate. Any clues/ "diane" wrote: > I have the same problem. I tried to delete the udpate and my machine tries > and then freezes. The folders will be recreated and any updates you are missing will be downloaded and installed for you automatically depending on your configurations. The reason you are getting this message is because the folders are corrupted on your your system because of repeated failed installations of updates. hth -- THE INFORMATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.
