From: Rod on 16 Feb 2010 17:10 Hi It is possible to use Matlab6.5 inside Vista: I´ve found a solution similar to the virtualPC: virtualBox! I installed the virtual box (www.virtualbox.org) in Windows Vista, and in the virtual box the Linux UBUNTU 9.10 (www.ubuntu.com), and finally Matlab 6.5, which has a Linux version either!!! Matlab 6.5 is now up and running inside my Ubuntu , which is inside Vista (Matrioskas approach). I agree that for Windows users virtualBox+Linux is not straightforward to install, BUT its worth the effort, while learning about the virtual box, Ubuntu, and it is for FREE!
