Next: Tool to convert MKV video to AVI
From: john connolly on 19 May 2010 13:45 Hi, I have an .flv file that I am trying to burn to a dvd (or cd). I used tovid to get the conversion to the dvd file system. For whatever reason it wouldn't make the .iso file but I did that with mkisofs -dvd- video. That gave an .iso file that gives the right info with isoinfo and it plays on vlc. This file has several minutes of dead time on it so I wanted to edit it. I did that with avidemux and got an .iso file that also plays on vlc. However isoinfo reports that the file is not an iso 9660 format. I can burn it but I can't mount it or play it one a dvd player. Is there open source software that will allow me to edit and burn this file to get something usable? Thanks, jwc
