From: Robert Rappaport on 7 Apr 2010 19:17 I am using Slackware 12.2 and do not use KDE. I downloaded the latest version of Kompozer for Linux and after gzip/tar I couldnt find how to install or use it from the documentation or web site. If anyone has found out how to handle this - Please advise. I would also appreciate any recommendation of any more user friendly web design software. Thanks for any response. Bob

I have been more than happy with Bluefish which has an installation script on slackbuilds.org. 'User friendly' is in the eye of the beholder I guess, Bluefish certainly assumes some knowledge of html and css but beyond that it is fairly straightforward to use. Please post the results of tar -tzf package.tar.gz That looks like a KDE app. If so, you'll need to install the kdelibs (not all of KDE). > If anyone has found out how to handle this - Please advise. > > I would also appreciate any recommendation of any more user > friendly web design software. > > Thanks for any response. > > Bob Sid
