From: pascal on 13 Jun 2010 11:56 Hi, i installed the Windows Driver Kits WDK 7600.16385.1 from microsoft using winXP 64bit version. The question: from the start menu the "Windows Driver Kits" does not contain any Build Environment for winXP for 64 bit? only x86 Checked/Free that is 32 bit. what is Build Environment that i can build the winXP 64bit ? do i use the x86 Checked Build Environment for the 64bit? or use vista Environment ? Thanks
From: Don Burn on 13 Jun 2010 12:34 You use the Windows Server 2003 x64 environments for Windows XP 64-bit. The kernel of XP 64-bit is actually Server 2003.
