Hello,
I had noticed that there is an entry called UUID in the
network configuration file in newer Fedora distros; this UUID entry
did not exists on older distros.
My question is: for what is this entry? what will happen if I will
comment it?
I am talking about /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0
configuration file, which contains a UUID like this:
UUID=5fb06bd1-0bb0-7ffb-45f1-d6edd65f3e11

rgs,

You lack the ability to go to google and type "UUID" into the search field?
