Where is the registry file in the file system of >windows server? >Thank you! >Uwe > Uwe, As for the firewall settings you're looking for, I looked and found it on both my 2008 and 2008 R2 servers in: HKLM,"System\CurrentControlSet\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\ and under that key, you will find: DomainProfile FirewallRules PublicProfile RestrictedServices StandardProfile Are you saying that key and subkeys do not exist in your 2008 installation? I also posted this in response to your other thread asking where the firewall settings in the registry are. I have a limited access - that is a recovery system based on windowsCE. There is a possibility to edit the registry, but I am not able to do it. If you want, send me a message to all4younow(a)freenet.de and I can give you my access data to the server over VNC viewer. It would be nice if you could do so!

I'm sorry, I am not familiar enough with Windows CE to be able to help. I believe you would be better assisted by someone with more familiarity with CE than myself. Sorry about that! Ace
