I use windows server 2008 and formatted it as 2003 functional server mode
and run
active directory domain

and then I use another windows server 2003 join into the forest as another
active directory domain

but they cannot replicate

would any one tell me why?

how to make them syn?

so you can ping the ip address of both DC right? also is this a new
domain tree...check DNS DNS DNS and consider using conditional
forwarding. Actually need more info about your environment.

Did you add that second DC as additional in an existing domain or did you
create a new domain in the same forest, please elaborate in detail what you
have done.
