I see no reason you wouldn't be able to, but if I were you, I would download and SAVE SP2 from the link below and then put it on CD. Then you can remove the download. Ant reason you don't want/have it now? FYI: If your installation disk is for SP1a, you can go directly to SP3 when reinstalling.
