From: noks on 3 Nov 2009 12:51 hey guys, im using Words 2007's citation and bibliography system, but in the bibliography, how can you change the format it writes the dates forr Internet sites? I live in the UK so it would be nice to have them written in the UK dd/mm format. is this possible?! cheers, chris.
From: Yves Dhondt on 3 Nov 2009 13:54 You could change the locale of your bibliography and see if that solves things. To change the locale, right click on your bibliography and select "Edit Field...". You will see something like "BIBLIOGRAPHY \l 1033". What you have to do is change "1033" for the value you wish to use. "2057" is normally the UK one, but the whole list can be found at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/goglobal/bb964664.aspx Note that changing the locale might influence other strings in your bibliography! If changing the locale does not fit give you the result you want, you will probably have to rewrite that part of the style which does the date formatting. It requires some xslt knowledge though. If you post details about the style you are using, I might be able to help you with that.
