Chaps,

I am having trouble with wxwidgets and truecrypt - they are slack x96_64
packages I build based on the slackbuilds and source at slacky.eu. These
packages were working until I started touched wxwidgets whilst trying and
failing to get audacity to build.

In the end I deleted truecrypt and all wx* packages and reinstalled my
previously working wxwidgets and truecrypt packages, but I get this error:

truecrypt: relocation error: truecrypt: symbol _ZN5wxApp10InitializeERiPPw,
version WXU_2.8 not defined in file libwx_gtk2u_core-2.8.so.0 with link time
reference

Any hints?

Try this instead then, it builds against a private instance of
wxWidgets so that upgrading a system-wide WX library will not kill
your truecrypt:

http://slackware.com/~alien/slackbuilds/truecrypt/

I'll be releasing a package and build script for truecrypt 6.3 soon.
The script at that link above is for 6.2a at the moment.

Thank you, you are an absolute star - it compiled �right out of the box� so
to say. I�m not a C-coder so despite being a long term slacker I have
trouble sorting out some of these.

Looks like you sorted it straight away, as it was 6.3 when I looked!
