In the configuration parameters (xPC Target options) of the Simulink model you can enter the "Real-Time interrupt source". For me its unclear what I have to enter there when I connect the xPC target via RS232 to the host PC. On the target screen I don't see any interrupt line from the CPU. If I choose an IRQ then the model hangs in an infinite loop. Should I choose always for "timer" when connecting to RS232?

When I connect the xPC target via ethernet to my host PC it is clear for me that I've to enter the Interrupt line number what is displayed on the target screen.

Any help would be appreciated.
