I am using (or want to use) a PMD 1208FS in a project that needs true real time control. Can xPC Target and the 1208FS work together?

At the present time, xPC Target can't use a USB device such as this.

Real time for this would mean a fastest sample time of 125 microseconds.
That's the minor frame time for USB 2.0.

Real time isn't any specific time scale, it just means a time faster
than the time scale in your device. Your statement about needing
true real time control doesn't tell me what your timescale is.
