I had to redo my computer and when i reinstall windows it is say that my
key code isnt working. When I called they said I would have to purchase
another software kit. Is there anywhere that I can go and get a code
for free??

Also check that you entered the correct code, do not confuse the letter O
with the number zero, also the number 8 and the letter B.
I don't know who you called but the word "Kit" is not correct when referring
to a replacement Windows CD.

The OP never said anything about a CD, but Microsoft does have a kit with
limited availability.

Otherwise, did you enter the key correctly?
O-0, B-8, G-6, I-1 and others look alike.
Have someone else try, another set of eyes and fingers can get it right.
