From: LD55ZRA on 20 Mar 2010 20:16 If you don't have any other user accounts created then you are the ADMINISTRATOR by default. All XP systems must have actual ADMINISTRATOR account (normally hidden unless you know how to get at it) and other named individual who is also an administrator but he is normally visible. Now if you are the only user then you just go to windows without the startup screen unless you also created a password to your account. hth "IE security question 23423" <IEsecurityquestion23423(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:69ED5D04-E178-4A0C-8A05-D2F7259953AC(a)microsoft.com... > when i go to user accounts under control panel i am listed as > "Computer Administrator" >
From: LD55ZRA on 20 Mar 2010 20:18 You can stop this darn from starting by going to Start/Run/Msconfig /all and then stopping this from Services tab. hth "IE security question 23423" <IEsecurityquestion23423(a)discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:CF5DF5A0-1D27-4DC5-9C45-C9E4FE24AD4A(a)microsoft.com... >I tried to stop a startup task (quicktime).
